Think Before You Drink

 Do you regularly drink soda, tea, flavored water, or energy drinks? If you do, you might want to consider stopping this addicting habit. Without thinking people down these sugar-filled drinks like no other. The massive amount of sugar being consumed from these drinks is one of the reasons for America's high obesity rate. If you're trying to lose weight, the smart thing would be to cut sugary drinks out of your daily intake. 


   
How much Sugar are you drinking? 



Coca Cola-65 grams of sugar in a 20-ounce bottle
Mountain Dew- 77 grams of sugar in a 20-ounce bottle 
Vitamin Water- 33 grams of sugar in a 20-ounce bottle 
Red Bull- 27 grams in an 8.3-ounce can 
Arizona Tea- 72 grams of sugar in a 24-ounce can

So, what should you do? Think before you drink something loaded with sugars, grab a water bottle instead. Which unlike these, has absolutely no sugar added!

Healthy Strawberry Blueberry Smoothie



Smoothies. They are a quick on-the-go fruity drink loved by many fitness addicts. A lot of gyms offer smoothies or shakes to their customers. The one I go to, JC Health & Fitness, has the best smoothies I've ever tasted! Their smoothies are so addictive, every time I go there I just have to get one. My personal favorite smoothie recipe is down below.

Strawberry Blueberry Smoothie Recipe:
1 cup water
1 cup ice
1 scoop vanilla protein
1 tablespoon flax seeds
1/2 cup frozen yogurt
                 1/2 cup frozen strawberries
                 1/2 cup frozen blueberries 




The protein powder, yogurt, 
fruit, and flax seeds 
give you the healthy nutrition 
that is great for
post-workouts.
